Dr. Peter P. Constantinou has a PhD in Higher Education from the University of Toronto and completed his undergraduate and master studies in Public Policy and Administration at York University and McMaster University, respectively.
He has familiarity with the OLIP as he served on its Intern Selection Committee in the past. He worked at Queen’s Park for more than a decade prior to becoming an academic and for the last twenty years he has been the Practicum and Internship Coordinator in the Public Policy and Administration Programme at York University. In addition to this position, he has been teaching Public Policy and Administration for over twenty years at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and working with students in the development of major academic papers. Having served on many academic boards, committees, as well as other civil society organizations, Dr. Constantinou has first hand experience in government relations and fundraising. Furthermore, he has also been an advisor to governments around the world, providing training and capacity building to government officials in China and Vietnam, amongst other countries.

Le Pr Constantinou a obtenu son doctorat en enseignement supérieur à l’University of Toronto après avoir terminé son baccalauréat et sa maîtrise en politiques publiques et administration à la York University et à la McMaster University, respectivement.
Il connaît déjà le PSALO puisqu’il a déjà fait partie du comité de sélection des stagiaires. Il a travaillé à Queen’s Park pendant plus de dix ans avant de devenir professeur d’université et, depuis vingt ans, il est le coordonnateur des stages au sein du Programme de politiques publiques et administration à la York University. En plus d’occuper ce poste, il dispense des cours en politiques publiques et administration aux niveaux du baccalauréat et de la maîtrise depuis plus de vingt ans et travaille avec des étudiants à l’élaboration de travaux universitaires d’envergure. Ayant été membre de nombreux comités universitaires et ayant œuvré dans d’autres organisations de la société civile, le Pr Constantinou a une expérience directe des relations avec les gouvernements et de la collecte de fonds. Il a en outre été conseiller auprès de divers gouvernements de par le monde et assuré à ce titre la formation et le renforcement des capacités de fonctionnaires en Chine et au Vietnam, par exemple.
