The Ontario English Catholic Teachers' Association represents the almost 45,000 teachers working in publicly funded English Catholic schools across Ontario. They teach in K-12 classrooms across the province and care deeply about the quality of education our students receive.
As an association, they advocate for the welfare of their teachers and students, promote the principles of catholic education and the strengths and importance of Ontario’s publicly funded Catholic education system. They have represented teachers since 1944 and teach approximately 558,000 students across Ontario.
We thank the OECTA for their good work and continued support of OLIP.
