The Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Growers' Association (OFVGA) was established in 1859, making it one of Canada’s oldest agricultural organizations. They are the voice of Ontario’s fruit and vegetable farmers, representing over 3,500 family farms and 30,000 farm-based, non-family jobs in the province. They are a non-profit, advocacy-based association whose mission is to advocate on behalf of Ontario’s fruit and vegetable farmers in partnership with their member associations.
We’re proud to partner with the OFVGA and learn about the great work they do on behalf of a group that is integral to our great province. We would also note that they put on a terrific Queen’s Park advocacy day and all the interns were grateful to walk away with some fantastic Ontario produce. We’d like to thank the OFVGA for their work and continued support of OLIP.
